I'd better get back to blogging....

I feel like we have been super busy but thinking back we haven't really been doing much! Guess I'm just trying to keep myself busy making clothes and bows. I'm having such a good time designing stuff for Zoey and a few friends here and there. Even though I don't get nearly enough time to do it I enjoy what time I do have.

We spent one whole week a few weeks ago sick sick. Rilan was running 104 fever for about 7 days. Just when he was starting to feel better I came down with a horrible stomach bug and was running a fever. It only lasted 24 hours but just as I was feeling better Dax got it. My Mom had come up to help us out so we could make sure Rilan didn't give anything to Zoey and somehow Mom and Zoey managed to not get sick!! Soo thankful!

We are all feeling great now and have been trying to stay indoors and keep cool. This has been a RIDICULOUSLY hot summer here in North Texas!! I'm defiantly ready for winter! I don't ever mind the snow especially when we are having weather like this!

Some photos of Zoey and Rilan at her 6 month well check.She checked out healthy and was 15 pounds(22nd percentile) and 25 1/4 inches long(22nd percentile) and her head circumference was 16 3/4(44th percentile). She only had to have 1 shot and she didn't even cry!! I hate having to take Rilan with me to her appointments because it really bothers him to have to watch her get a shot. The last 2 times he has gone and sat in a chair that is right outside the door. He doesn't like seeing his sister get a "boo boo." After I looked up her percentiles I looked up Rilan's. He weights 32 pounds and is in the 3rd percentile! But he is in the 64th percentile for height! Tall and skinny!

Friday we had to run a few errands and it was scortching outside so before we went to get doggy food we stopped in Marble Slab for a cool treat.

 

We went to eat at Chili's Saturday and no one was there so we snapped a few photos of us!

I never get photos of me, mostly because I really really dislike the way I look but I thought I'd better have a few before I was really bummed I didn't have any of Zoey and I while she is still a baby.

 

Hope you all have a good week. We are going to enjoy this week and then Rilan is going to go stay with grandparents for a week the following week. I'm going to miss him so much but I know he will have a blast and probably not even realize he is away from his Mommy, Daddy, and Sissy.
